MEDICINE HAT OPTIMIST CLUB "EXCELLENCE IN RINGETTE" SCHOLARSHIP
The Medicine Hat Optimist Club Excellence in Ringette Scholarship is for Ringette players who have demonstrated  academic performance and a strong commitment to the sport of ringette through active participation and involvement. These scholarships are designed to encourage athletes to maintain their involvement in ringette while pursuing post-secondary studies. Up to four scholarships of $250.00 each will be awarded each year.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Eligible ringette players are those who are enrolled in full time studies at a recognized post-secondary educational institution for the upcoming academic year. Applicants must have actively participated in ringette as a registered player for a minimum of one year and will be current/or former athletes/coaches of the MHRA. Successful applicants must provide proof of their full-time enrolment/acceptance for the upcoming academic year to Medicine Hat Ringette Association. Medicine Hat Ringette Association will not release funds until enrolment/acceptance has been confirmed. Funds will be paid directly to the student. 

The application deadline for consideration will be April 1st of each year.   Scholarships will be awarded to the selected recipients at the AGM in the spring.
