We continue to live in uncertain times and while we still don't know what the future holds, as an organization we need to continue to plan for the future no matter what that may look like. Part of this includes making decisions and ensuring that we have a group of volunteers continuing to work for the membership, those being your board of directors.
We have opted to host a virtual AGM this year. The AGM will take place on Wednesday, June 3rd @ 6:30pm via the Zoom platform. A link to attend this meeting will be sent out to our membership closer to the meeting date.
We will also be looking to fill, and/or re-elect individuals, for the following board positions this year: Election of Directors - 2-year terms
2020/2021 Coordinator Positions (1-year terms)
In an effort to make things run smoother during the meeting we are asking for nominations to be submitted ahead of time to Ryan Klick (firstname.lastname@example.org), with nominations coming in no later than May 22, 2020. The forms can be found on our website.
We are also seeking nominations for the following 2019-2020 awards:
In an effort to make things run smoother during the meeting we are asking for nominations to be submitted ahead of time to Janelle Want (email@example.com), with nominations coming in no later than May 22, 2020. The application forms can be found on our website.

Stay safe and stay healthy
Due to ongoing concerns surrounding the Covid-19 Pandemic, MHRA will be cancelling all volunteer commitments until further notice. Due to the lack of Volunteer spots for the remainder of the year MHRA will not cash any volunteer commitments not met for the 2019-2020 season. As this normalize and activities resume we will send notification of volunteer spots that are needing to be filled.
Due to the current situation surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic MHRA is suspending all operations, including meetings and the AGM until further notice. MHRA will follow guidelines set out by Ringette Alberta when it will be safe to resume any activities and planning for the upcoming season. Although many executive members have their terms of service expiring in April these members will continue with their duties until a meeting can be held to elect new members.
Thank you and stay safe.
