We want you to Come Try Ringette!
Medicine Hat Ringette is seeking girls especially ages 5-9 who want to be part of the
coolest game on ice for the 2010/2011 season.
Bring a friend and Come and Try it on Sunday March 28th 3:45 to 6:00 at the Family
Leisure Center.
Youll need a helmet, skates and gloves or mittens. Free popcorn and drinks for
everyone.

Ringette Scholarships
There are a variety of scholarships from different sources available for Ringette Players
in Canada. One example is the University of Alberta with scholarships of a total value of
$21,500 for student-athletes who are members of the U of A Ringette team. For more

About Us...
The Medicine Hat Ringette Association was established in
1985 with one team, seventeen girls and several enthusiastic parents. The association now
proudly boast over a dozen teams, well over a hundred participants and hundreds of
enthusiastic parents. Our girls participate in Southern Alberta Zone play, Provincials,
numerous tournaments and a local house league.
Did you Know?
Ringette is a 40-year-old Canadian invention that
has become one of the fastest team sports on ice. There are currently over 24,700 players
on more than 2,000 teams across the country with over 1,800 officials and over 5,000
coaches. Internationally, it is played in half a dozen other countries around the world.
Worldwide, over 50,000 girls and women are registered members of ringette teams. Check out
