Application deadline for the January Tournament is November 28, 2008.
February application deadline is December 12, 2008. Acceptance
of applications will be on a first come basis and must be accompanied by the registration
fee and Provincial Registration form. (please send once you receive it) Once your
division is filled, your cheque will be cashed. At this point, refunds will only
be allowed if a replacement team is found. Ringette Alberta
affiliation rules apply for all teams, including those from out of province.Overage players will only be allowed to participate if
they are registered with the team (proof required), play on no other team, and can be no
more than 1 year overage. The maximum number of goals allowed to be scored and
counted by an overage player is 2 in any game.
The tournament will be a round robin format. All teams will play
a minimum of FOUR games, except the Bunny Division, which is guaranteed three
games. All teams must be ready to play @ 12:00 noon on January 9 and
February 13, 2009.
Each team must provide 2 volunteers to work the score sheet or penalty
box, no exceptions. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of
the game.
We will attempt to accommodate any Level 1 or 2 officials travelling
with the team that wishes to referee. Please list these in order to schedule them in.
Confirmation and additional details will follow receipt of completed
registration form and fee.
